Patrick F This is a must see for all Beatles fans. It also works as a good introduction to the group for those who haven't really gotten into them yet. The film is about Beatlemania as much as it is about the band's touring years. But those threads intersect in the overall story about how the grind of touring and the pressures of monster fame affected the members of the band. Wonderfully crafted film with new and archived interviews and so much great video of the band on the road. Where appropriate, the film offers insight into the historical importance of the greatest band there ever was. Must see for anyone who didn't live in the 60s..fab Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review Joel H For some reason, I didn't know that The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - The Touring Years existed. This documentary somehow flew under the radar for me. I enjoyed it. It's a concise history of the band and features some fun behind-the-scenes footage of The Fab Four. It's also more upbeat than the other biography I watched this week, The Beatles: Get Back. Ron Howard's documentary actually serves as an interesting companion to Peter Jackson's, giving almost the whole history of The Beatles when viewed sequentially. I'm glad I discovered this movie and would recommend it to other fans of The Beatles. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/03/23 Full Review patrick f This is a must see for all Beatles fans.
