Badr Hari and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic to return at K-1 Rising 2012
It was announced today that Badr Hari and Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic will both return to the K-1 arena as part of the May 27 K-1 Rising 2012. Set in Madrid, Spain, Hari will be returning to the ring after besting Gokhan Saki earlier this year in a retirement match. Cro Cop returns after also winning his last kickboxing match against Ray Sefo. K-1 Global and It’s Showtime sign multi-year deal
K-1 has been purchased by a Mr. Mike Kim and rechristened as K-1 Global. Today It’s Showtime announced that they had signed a deal with the new K-1 Global organization.
It’s Showtime issued a press release about the deal, which stated that many fighters from their organization had signed contracts with the company and that they all received signing bonuses of 50 percent of the money that was owed to them from FEG, the former owners of K-1.
